小論文・志望理由書について

 ~自分の考え、主体的な経験や体験を文章に~

 6月中旬、進路指導部の先生に(株)学研アソシエが開催した「小論文対策研究会」に参加してもらいました。それによると、今年度の上級学校入試において、「以下のような傾向が強くなっている」とのことでした。

【今後の大学入試について】

---

  ●AO入試(自己推薦型入試)⇒現2年生からの受験では、全国的に「総合型選抜」に名称が変わります。
  プレゼン型(自分で調べたことを発表する)、レポート型(調べたことを文章にする)等が主流だったが、  受験日当日にテーマ型の小論文を受験科目とする大学が増加傾向。
　※興味・関心・基礎学力の把握が目的

 ●推薦入試(指定校推薦・公募推薦)⇒現2年生からの受験では、全国的に「学校推薦型選抜」に名称変更。
  小論文・面接・書類審査が主流だったが、これらに加えて基礎学力を問う筆記試験を課す大学が増加傾向。

 ●一般入試⇒現2年生からの受験では、全国的に「一般選抜」に名称変更。
    国公立大学を中心に、センター入試(現2年生からは「大学入学共通テスト」)を一次試験として、様々な  形式の2次試験が展開されている。社会情勢や総合的な知識を問う小論文試験を導入する大学が増加傾向。

【上級学校の志望理由書について】

 ●専門学校、短期大学、大学、全ての上級学校において提出が求められるようになってくる。
　※文部科学省からの通達で、「入試における評価の観点の明示」が義務付けられるようになるため。
　受験者がアドミッションポリシー(入学者受け入れ方針)を理解していることと、学校理解が伴うことが最低限の条件となる。
    ⇒学力が高くても、面接で上手く話せても、受験する学校のことがしっかり理解できていないとダメ。
　進学を希望する皆さんは、早くから対策を立て、準備を整えて受験に臨みましょう。

[Regarding future university entrance examinations]

●AO entrance exam (self-recommendation entrance examination) ⇒ From the current 2nd grade, the name will be changed to "integrated selection" nationwide.
Presentations (announce one's research) and reports (Write down what you have researched) were the mainstream, but the number of universities that take thematic essays as examination subjects on the day of examination is increasing.
* Purpose is to grasp interest, interest and basic academic ability

●Entrance examination by commendation (Recommendation of Designated Schools and Public Recruitment) ⇒ The name has been changed nationwide to "Selection based on school recommendation" when the current 2nd grade students or older take the examination.
In addition to essays, interviews and screening of documents, a growing number of universities have introduced written tests to test basic academic ability.

●General entrance examination ⇒ The name has been changed nationwide to "general selection" for those from the current 2nd grade.
The National Center Test for University Admissions ("Common test for university entrance" from the current 2nd grade) is the primary test for national and public universities, and various types of secondary tests are being conducted. An increasing number of universities have introduced essay tests to examine social conditions and general knowledge.

[Statement of Reasons for Application to Advanced School]

●it will be required to submit reports at vocational schools, junior colleges, universities and all senior schools.
※A notice from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology will make it mandatory to "Clarification of evaluation criteria in entrance examinations". The minimum requirement is that the examinee understand the admission policy (Admissions Policy) and the school.
=>Even if your academic ability is high or you can speak well at the interview, you have to understand the school you are going to take the exam.
For those who want to go on to higher education, prepare for the entrance exam early and prepare for it.
