【Shoshi Success Story】

Tokyo Kasei University

Department of Education and Welfare, Faculty of Humanities,

'Continuation is the shortcut to success'

General Course Takanomiya Mizuki

(Track and Field ・ Graduated from Ikki Junior High School)

I was able to pass Tokyo Kasei University by the recommendation of the designated school this time. Since the beginning of the first year, we have been aware of the need to take entrance examinations using the designated school recommendation system and have been working on learning so that we can obtain high ratings. However, in order to be selected as a recommended candidate, it is necessary to obtain a deviation value higher than the standard in the mock examination as well as the rating. I had a hard time raising my deviation value. I hope that by introducing the study methods that I have practiced, I can find a suitable study method for myself as soon as possible.

What I did during the regular test was to solve the same problem many times. I solved the memorization subjects such as Japanese history on paper, scored them, solved the same problem without a pause, and if I had confidence that "I'm all right now." I would move on to the next unit. It is recommended because it is easy to remain in your head, but it takes a little time, so it is important to proceed systematically. Math is the same. I had to get used to the problem, so even if I felt like "I don't like the same problem again.", I could stand it and practice it many times. Also, there are many teachers who tell us, "THIS IS THE POINT!" when we listen attentively during class. It is natural to concentrate every day, but if you listen carefully before the test, you will get several points.

As a mock examination measure, I was not good at English, so I decided to finish up with two long questions and grammar every day. As for grammar, I started from checking the basics of junior high school again, not from the past. I feel faint reading long sentences. But we can't give up on long sentences because they are given high points. Again, it's important to practice repeatedly and get used to it. At first I only had resistance, but actually I was able to stabilize the deviation value in English. If you are not good at Japanese classics and Chinese classics, I think you should start with reviewing basic auxiliary verbs and return marks, and then get used to past exam questions.

The entrance exam is a competition with a weak person who tends to feel like this is enough. Overcome your weak self and do your best to realize your career path.

Message

The time to take the exam seems long and short. I tried to think and act quickly on how I would spend the day.

In addition to studying, you should check the school you want to go and the place of employment in detail. Also, I think it's good to participate in the open campus. It is partly because you are motivated, but if you have been there once when you took an exam, you won't be worried.

Finally, don't give up when you don't get the results you want. Before you give up, you should think about why it doesn't work as you want. It's the next chance to connect.
