推薦候補生について

～推薦候補生は、より自分に厳しい生活をしよう～

　９月２１日（土）に第３回進学分析会を開きました。この会議で、上級学校の推薦入試受験を希望する三年生に対する審議を行い、校長先生の承認のもと、推薦候補生が決定しました。
　
（１）推薦候補生とは
　「推薦候補生」とは、生徒並びに保護者が希望している上級学校の求める基準に、生徒の興味・適正・能力が合致し、かつ「生徒本人の将来性や学校に対する貢献度がある」と判断され、学校長（尚志高校の職員も含む）の発行する推薦書によって受験を許可される生徒のことを言います。
　※ただし、あくまでも推薦候補生ですから、今後の学習状況や学校生活状況等から尚志高校の期待に添えない状況が見られた場合は、推薦受験の資格を失い、推薦受験はできなくなります。

（２）推薦受験について
①「推薦受験」とは、学校長（尚志高校の職員も含む）の責任のもと、上級学校へ推薦書を添えて受験する入試であり、推薦受験をした段階で他校を受験・入学することはできません。(一部、併願可能な学校を除く)
②推薦受験校から合格の通知があった段階で、速やかに入学手続きをしなければなりません。いかなる理由があっても辞退することはできません。
　　※上記の約束厳守のため、受験前に「上級学校推薦受験申込書」、合格後に「誓約書」を提出して貰います。
　　※一部の学校に限られますが、推薦で併願を認めている場合は、この限りでありません。
③推薦入試は、他の各高等学校長の推薦を受けた同レベルの生徒の戦いです。倍率的には優しそうに見えますが、内容としてはかなり厳しく「推薦受験＝合格」ではないことを十分に考えなければなりません。何より、推薦で受験して合格しても、入学が出来た訳ではありません。入学するまでは、進学が叶った訳ではないことを心に刻みながら、今後の生活を送りましょう。
               

＜「推薦受験で上級学校へ進学する」ということの責任＞

　推薦で合格して上級学校に入学した生徒は、上級学校を卒業するまで、尚志高校に対しての責任が要求されます。（成績不良にならない。進路変更（退学や転学）をしない等）また、上級学校入学後も上級学校の学校生活や卒業等の報告として、先生方へ元気な顔を見せに来て下さい。

（３）個別特別指導について
　受験校の選考方法の違いにより、推薦候補生１人１人に特別指導（個別指導）担当の先生が割り当てられます。（尚志高校として上級学校への責任が伴うため）。後日、学級担任の先生方より連絡があります。ご指導いただく内容をしっかりと身に付け、必ず合格をつかみ取りましょう。
※３月～４月に配布した合格体験記に書いてある通り、受験に必死に取り組んだ先輩は、合格できています。また、同じ合格を手に入れるにしても、努力を重ねた人ほど喜びが大きいと確信しています。
※特別指導を頂く際には、服装・態度・言葉遣い・約束事の厳守を心掛け、真剣に取り組むことが大切です。それらのことが真剣にできない場合は、推薦候補生としての資格を失い、推薦受験はできなくなります。
  「推薦候補生ガイダンス」で、上記の内容の指導を行います。後日、学級担任の先生より連絡があります。

~ Let's make life harder for recommended students ~

We held the 3rd Advancement Analysis Meeting on Saturday, September 21. At the meeting, the 3rd year students who wanted to take the entrance examination by recommendation of a higher grade school were discussed, and with the approval of the principal, the recommended students were decided.

(1)What are the recommended candidates?
"recommended candidate" refers to students whose interests, aptitudes, and abilities meet the standards desired by the students and their parents, who are judged to be "Students' own potential and contribution to the school" and who are permitted to take examinations based on recommendations issued by the school principal (including Shoshi High School staff).
* However, since you are only a recommended candidate, if you do not meet the expectations of Shoshi High School due to the situation of your study and school life, you will lose the qualification to take the recommendation entrance examination and you will not be able to take the recommendation entrance examination.

(2)About recommended examinations
1. (including Shoshi High School staff) is an entrance examination that takes an examination with a recommendation letter to a higher grade school under the responsibility of the principal "examination by recommendation", and it is not possible to take an examination or enter another school at the stage of taking an examination by recommendation. (Excluding some schools where students can apply for multiple courses)
2. When you receive a notice of acceptance from the school that takes the entrance examination by recommendation, you must go through the entrance procedures immediately. You cannot decline for any reason.
* In order to keep the above promise, you will need to submit "Application for the Advanced School Recommendation Examination" before taking the exam and "written pledge" after passing.
* It is limited to some schools, but this does not apply if the application is accepted by recommendation.
3. The entrance examination by commendation is a competition of students of the same level recommended by other high school principals. It looks nice at scale, but you have to be careful that the content is pretty strict "RECOMMENDATION EXAM = PASS". Above all, even if you take an examination by recommendation and pass it, it doesn't mean that you could enter. Until you enter the school, keep in mind that you have not been able to go on to the next stage of your life.


<Responsibility of "Go to a higher grade school by taking a recommendation examination">


Students who pass the examination by recommendation and enter the advanced school are required to be responsible for Shoshi high school until they graduate from the advanced school. (I don't get poor grades. Failure to change course (dropping out of school or changing schools), etc.) Also, please come to show teachers your energetic face as a report of school life and graduation of the upper grade school after entering the upper grade school.

(3)Individual special guidance
Depending on the selection method of the entrance examination school, the teacher in charge of special guidance (individual guidance) is assigned to each recommended candidate. (As Shoshi High School is responsible for senior high schools). The homeroom teacher will contact you later. Be sure to learn the contents of the guidance you will give you and make sure you pass.
*As it is written in the success story distributed from March to April, senior students who worked hard to take the examination passed. I am also convinced that even if you get the same pass, the more effort you make, the greater the joy.
*When you receive special guidance, it is important to keep in mind the strict observance of clothing, attitude, language, and rules, and to take it seriously. If you can't do those things seriously, you will lose the qualification as a recommended candidate and you will not be able to take the recommendation examination.
