■合格の秘訣

　私は、高校受験に失敗した経験があったため、大学受験では、絶対に合格するという気持ちを常に持っていました。その気持ちによって、辛い受験生を乗り越えることができ、合格に繋がったのではないかと思います。

　私が受験した推薦入試では、センター試験と面接で合否が判断されます。そのため、第一にセンター対策をしました。暗記教科は点数が伸びやすく、勉強の成果が見えやすかったです。しかし、苦手教科である数字や英語は、すぐに点数に反映されにくいため、時間をかけて毎日取り組むようにしていました。また、過去問を解く人がほとんどだと思います。私もその一人でした。ですが、受験をした時に、過去問と傾向が変わったことで焦ってしまいました。いつもより点数が下がった教科もあれば、上がった教科もあり、さまざまでした。本番は何があるか分かりません。過去問は参考程度にしかなりません。そのことを頭に入れて試験に臨み、どんな状況でも落ち着いて本来の力を発揮することが一番大切だと思います。

　私は、受験勉強の他に探究活動にも力を入れました。探究活動とは、自分で課題を見つけ、課題解決に向け、問いを深めていくものです。私は、子供達の遊びのゲーム化や、県内児童の肥満傾向の高さから、「コミュニケーションを取りながら体を動かす」イベントの企画・運営を行いました。この活動は、場所の確保やイベントの内容も自分で考えたため、試行錯誤しながら、やっと成功したプロジェクトでした。私は、この経験をすることで、自分に自信を持って、面接を行うことが出来たと思っています。もし、受験で面接が課されるならば、自分の強みが欲しいと思います。自分の強みがあることで、自信を持つことが出来ます。そのため、自分にしか行えない取り組みをすることも大切だと思います。

　私は、三年生という時間はとても短く、あっという間に過ぎてしまったと感じています。後悔しないためにも、時間を大切にして過ごして下さい。そして、周りの人と比べたり、流されたりせずに、自分のペースを大切にして下さい。笑顔で受験生を終えられるよう応援しています。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　合格をすることで家族や先生方、友人が自分のことのように、共に喜んでくれます。喜ぶ時間は一瞬で、辛い時間はとても長いです。しかし、私はその一瞬を忘れることはありません。皆さんにも、苦しい時期があると思います。その壁を乗り越えた先に、きっと良い結果が待っていると信じて、最後まで諦めずに取り組んで欲しいです。

　今は、受験をする姿など想像がつかない人もいると思います。ですが、受験日まであっという間です。その人達は、すでに対策をしているかもしれませんし、まだ何も取り組んでいない人達かもしれません。私は、今からの頑張り次第で結果は変わってくると思います。ここからが勝負です。志願校合格目指して、全力を尽くして下さい。

　Because of my experience of failing the high school entrance exam, I always had the intention of passing the university entrance examinations. I think that this mindset helped me to overcome the difficult entrance examinations and to pass the entrance examinations.

　In the entrance examination for which I took the recommended entrance examination, a student's success or failure is determined by the Center Test and an interview. Therefore, my first priority was to prepare for the Center Test. It was easy to improve my scores on memorized subjects, and it was easy to see the results of my studies. However, my weakest subjects, numbers and English, were difficult to reflect immediately on my scores, so I made sure to take my time and work on them every day. Also, I think most people solve past papers. I was one of them. However, when I took the exam, I got impatient because the tendency was changed from the past questions. Some of my scores went down and some went up. You never know what the real test will be like. Past papers are only a reference. I think the most important thing is to keep this in mind as you approach the exam and to remain calm and show your true strength in any situation.

　In addition to studying for the exam, I also put a lot of effort into inquiry activities. Inquiry activities are about finding a problem, solving it, and asking more questions. I planned and organized a "communicative and physical activity" event to help children turn play into a game and the high prevalence of obesity among children in the county. This activity was a project that finally succeeded after much trial and error, as I had to secure the location and plan the event myself. I believe that this experience helped me to feel more confident in myself and in my ability to conduct interviews. If you are required to interview for an exam, you want to have your strengths. Having your own strengths will help you to be confident. Therefore, I think it's important to work on things that only you can do.

　I feel that my senior year is very short and has gone by so quickly. Please make the most of your time so that you don't regret it. Also, please do not compare yourself to the people around you, do not get carried away, and cherish your pace. I will support you to finish the exam with a smile.

Message

　Passing the test makes my family, teachers, and friends happy with me as I am with them. The rejoicing time is fleeting and the hard time is very long. But I will never forget those moments. I know that all of you will have hard times too. I hope you will believe that your good result will be waiting for you when you overcome the obstacle, and I hope you will not give up until the end.

　Some of you may not be able to imagine taking the examinations now. However, it doesn't take long until the day of the exam. Those people may have already done their preparation for the exam or they may not have done anything for it yet. I think the result will change depending on your efforts from now on. This is just the beginning. Please do your best to pass the entrance examinations of the schools you want to enter.
