警察官×自衛官 合同説明会 6月11日（火）

　６月１１日（火）放課後、Ｃ２０１選択教室で「警察×自衛隊の合同説明会」を実施します。この行事では、実際に警察官・自衛官の方々にご来校頂き、希望者の皆さんに業務や採用試験についての説明をして下さいます。３年生で、警察官・自衛官の採用試験受験する生徒の皆さんは必ず参加して下さい。また、１・２年生で、将来、これらの職業を希望する生徒、少しでも興味がある生徒の皆さんも是非参加して下さい。

　なお、予定していた海上保安官の方は、都合により参加することが出来なくなりました。次回以降の開催の際に、改めて調整して行きます。今回は、警察官・自衛官の方々の「現場での体験談」や「採用試験の説明」をしっかりと聞き、職業選択に活かしていきましょう。

「警察官」...警察官は、国民の安全を守る仕事です。警察の組織は、国家に関わる公安や警察組織全体の調整を行う警察庁と、各都道府県が管理する警察組織で、その地域で発生した事件を担当する都道府県警察に分かれています。警察庁勤務はキャリア警察官と言われるもので、勤務するためには国家公務員試験に合格することが必要です。都道府県警察で働くためには、各都道府県で実施される警察官採用試験において、採用されなければなりません。採用倍率は10倍以上あります。警察官の勤務体系は、交番勤務の場合、昼間勤務、夜勤、24時間勤務、休日といったように、変則的な勤務となります。一方で、寮が用意されているほか、各種手当があり、福利厚生は充実していると言えるでしょう。

「自衛官」...自衛官は、日本の平和と安全を守り、外部からの侵略に対して防衛する任務を持っています。自衛隊の活動には、国家を守る「防衛活動」、大規模災害のときに救助をする「緊急救助活動」、海外の紛争地域で、その地域の平和を維持する「国際平和協力活動」などがあります。自衛隊は非常に大きな組織のため、募集している職種も多岐に渡ります。必要とされる学歴もさまざまであるため、自分が希望する職種の募集状況を確認することが必要です。震災時の救助活動による活躍で、自衛隊に対する期待は高まりをみせています。また、日本近海において、緊張が高まっており、防衛面においても自衛隊の重要性が増してきている状況です。

"Police Officer"... policemen are jobs that protect the safety of the people. The police organization is divided into the National Police Agency which coordinates public safety related to the nation and the police organization as a whole, and the prefectural police which is in charge of the incidents in each prefecture. Working at the National Police Agency is called career police, and you need to pass the national civil service examination to work. In order to work for prefectural police, you have to be employed in the police recruitment examination held in each prefecture. The ratio of adoption is more than 10. The working system of police officers is irregular, such as daytime work, night work, 24 hour work, and holidays in the case of police box work. On the other hand, there are dormitories, various benefits, and benefits.

"Self-Defense Official" ... SDF personnel have the mission of protecting Japan's peace and security and defending against external aggression. The SDF's activities include "defense activity" to protect the nation, "emergency rescue operation" to rescue people in the event of a major disaster, and "International Peace Cooperation Activities" to maintain peace in regions of conflict overseas. The Self-Defense Forces is a very large organization, so there are many kinds of job openings. There are various academic backgrounds required, so you need to check the recruitment status of the job you want. Expectations for the Self-Defense Forces are rising because of the activities of rescue activities at the time of the earthquake disaster. In addition, tensions are rising in waters around Japan, and the importance of the Self-Defense Forces is increasing in terms of defense.

事務研修 「働くとは...？」

　３年生の就職希望生徒を対象に、５月１０日（金）～５月２８日（火）まで、約３週間に渡って今年度の事務研修を実施しました。今までの進路だよりに数回に渡って記載した通り「事務研修」は尚志高校独自の取り組みです。３年生の就職希望者の皆さんに、学校の事務室と進路指導室において来校者の応対や電話での受付等を体験してもらいました。

　この事務研修を通して、「自分はもっと上手くできると思っていたけれど、中々、スムーズにいかなくて大変でした。でも、とても良い機会でした。」という感想を、ほぼ全員の研修者から得ました。

　また、「先生方やご来校者の方々から、『ありがとう』という感謝や『お疲れ様』という、ねぎらいの言葉をかけて頂いて、『もっと頑張ろう！』って思いました。」という感想も上がりました。

　就職希望者の皆さんは、９月１６日に、全国一斉に就職試験が始まります。これからも「働くこと」への具体的なイメージを持ちながら、「やりがい」を見出せるように色々と調べたり、考えていくことが、大切だと思います。また、今回の研修で得たことを、普段の生活や家庭で活かして行くように心がけましょう。

What does "WORKING" mean?

This year's Office Work Training was conducted for about 3 weeks from May 10 (Fri) to Tuesday, May 28 for 3rd grade students seeking employment. As I have written several times, "Office Training" is a unique initiative of Shoshi High School. We provided the 3rd year job applicants with the opportunity to experience the handling of visitors and the telephone reception in the school office and career guidance room.

Through this office work training, we received the impression that "I thought I could do better, but it was hard because it didn't go smoothly. But it was a very good opportunity." from almost all of the trainees.

Another said, "The teachers and visitors thanked me, saying, 'Thank you.' and thanked me, saying, 'Good job.' I thought I would try harder.'

Job examinations for job applicants will start all over Japan on September 16. I think it is important to continue to research and think in various ways so that we can find "challenge" while having a concrete image of "work". Also, try to use what you learned in this training in your daily life and at home.

１・２年生　総合進学、情報総合科　到達度テスト終了
～今後の対策を～　

　５月２２日に１・２年生の普通科総合進学と情報総合科を対象に「第１回到達度テスト」を実施しました。この到達度テストは、「基礎学力の定着」を目的として、「自分の弱点分野」を理解し、その対策を考え、自ら実践できるようになることを目的に行いました。

　６月の中旬には、成績個票が返却されます。この成績個票を確認し、今、自分にとって必要な基礎学力を補足テキストや、「スタディサプリ」>> 等を使って、成績個票に書かれている弱点分野を克服できるよう、補って下さい。この到達度テストは，成績個票の返却後の対策がとても重要です。

　⇒その補った学習に対する確認を、８月２６日に「第１回到達度確認テスト」というテストで実施します。弱点をそのままにせず、少しでも克服できるよう、努力を重ねましょう。

☆スタディサプリの使い方は、マニュアルや実際にスタディサプリの動画を見て、到達度テストの成績個票が返ってくるまでに、少しでも慣れておいてください。

Achievement Test has finished

On May 22, the "1st achievement test" was held for students in the 1st and 2nd grade of General Course and Informatics Course. The purpose of this achievement test was to "Establishment of basic academic ability" and to enable students to understand "my weak spots" to think about countermeasures and put them into practice by themselves.

In the middle of June, the student card will be returned. Please check this transcript and supplement your basic academic ability with supplementary texts,  "Studysapuri" , etc. so that you can overcome the weak points in the transcript. In this achievement test, it is very important to take measures after returning the score card.

⇒ The confirmation of the supplemented learning will be carried out by the test of "1st achievement test" on August 26. Make an effort not to leave your weaknesses as they are, but to overcome them.

■合格の秘訣

　大学受験をするにあたって自分にとっての最初の決定事項は、一般入試で行くか推薦入試で行くかということでした。学校選びが豊富だけど難しい一般と、選択肢が狭まるけど対策が出来て確実な推薦とで高３の夏までは実際悩んでいました。一般で行くことができたら個人的には格好良いと思っていましたが、自分にはできなかったので推薦で行くということに決めました。

　推薦といっても様々な入試方法があって、その中でも一番自分に合っていると思った指定校推薦という入試方法にしました。推薦と聞くと多くの人は「楽そうだ」というイメージが多く、あまり良い風に思えないことがありますが、自分の場合は結構大変だったように思います。まず出願書類から少し関門があり、志願理由書の作成などが大変でした。なぜかというと、自分の受ける大学は面接がないものだったので、その大学についてどれだけ知っているか、などを書くのは難しくて大変でした。日頃から文章などを書いて、もっと言葉を知っておくことが大事だと感じました。

　そして、受験本番については、他の大学とは少し異なっていて、面接や小論文ではなく、講義を聞いてレポートをまとめるものでした。その対策として僕は、ニュースを見たり、新聞を見たりして対策をしました。ただそれだけではなくて、人の話を聞く練習や、要点をまとめて自分の意見を述べられるようにすることが必要だと思います。これは、大学受験に限らずこれからの人生においても重要で、その力を育みつつ学ぶことができて良かったと思いました。合格体験記といってもこれくらいのことしか書けませんが、合格するのに楽な道のりはひとつもなく、日々努力して勉強していくことが一番堅実で確実な道のりだと思います。どの方法を選ぶにしても、自分が納得して後悔することのない選択をして、最後に笑っていられれば良いと思います。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　これから受験を迎える皆さんへのメッセージとしては、進路選択は真剣に考えて悔いの残らないようにしてほしいということです。大学進学という選択は皆が思っているよりもとても大きな選択です。専門学校や就職にしても本当に「その選択で自分のやりたいことができるのか」を一番良く考えてほしいと思います。まだ、「自分の将来は分からない」とか「決められない」という人は、現在少しでも興味がある事、好きな事を掘り進めていくと何かやりたい事が見つかるかもしれません。先輩として、このこと以上に何かを言えることはもうないのですが、勉強以外にも自分の生活の態度なども見つめ直して、自分自身をさらに知る事も面白くて、面接でも有利になるのではないかと思います。これからの受験生が笑顔で卒業できることを祈っています。

'To realize my own career path'

My first decision to take the university entrance examination was whether to take the general entrance examination or the recommendation entrance examination. I actually had a hard time until the summer when I was in the 3rd year of high school because there were many schools to choose but it was difficult for the general public, and there were fewer options, but I was able to come up with countermeasures and make sure recommendations. I personally thought it would be cool if I could go there through general exam, but I couldn't, sso I decided to take the recommendation entrance examination.

There are various entrance examination methods by recommendation, and among them, I chose an entrance examination method called designated school recommendation which I thought was most suitable for me. When I hear the word recommendation, many people have an image of "It looks easy." and it doesn't sound very nice, but in my case, it was quite hard. First of all, there was a bit of a barrier from the application documents, and it was hard to prepare the application reasons. Because my university didn't have interviews, it was hard to write about how much I knew about the university. I felt that it is important to write sentences on a regular basis and learn more about the language.

As for the actual examination, it was a little different from other universities, and it was not an interview or short essay, but a lecture and a report. As a countermeasure, I took measures by watching news and newspapers. Not only that, but I think it is necessary to practice listening to others and to be able to express your opinion by summarizing the main points. This is important not only for university entrance exams but also for my future life, and I am glad that I was able to learn while cultivating that ability. I can only write this much about the pass experience, but there is no easy way to pass, and I think the most reliable way is to study hard every day. Whichever method you choose, you should make a choice that you won't regret and you should laugh at the end.

Message

As a message to those who are about to take the entrance examination, I want them to think seriously about their choice of career path and not to leave any regrets. The choice to go to college is a much bigger choice than everyone thinks. I want them to think about "Can I do what I want with that choice?" the best way to get a job or a vocational school. For those of you who still say "I can't decide." or "I don't know my future." you may find something you want to do as you dig into things that interest you even a little at present. As a senior, I have nothing more to say than this, but I think it will be interesting to learn more about yourself by reviewing your attitude in your life other than studying, and it will be advantageous in an interview. I hope the students from now on will be able to graduate with a smile.
