次の３月を人生を変える春に（カナダ・バンクーバー語学研修）
来年３月に実施されるカナダ・バンクーバー語学研修の説明会が９月５日（木）夕方にスカイホールで開かれました。
海外語学研修に興味のある１・２年生の生徒のみなさんと保護者の方々、合わせて５０名以上の参加となりました。
ＪＴＢの齋藤さんから、グローバル人材に必要とされる力が海外語学研修で身に付くことや、海外語学研修が大学進学やその後の就職でも役立つこと、そして楽しく充実した研修内容と日程などが、熱く語られました。
費用的にもリーズナブルな金額設定で、かなりお得感のある語学研修プログラムでした。申し込み締め切りは、９月３０日（月）までとなっています。保護者の方と充分に相談をして申し込みをしてください。
The next March is the spring that will change your life
A briefing session on the Canadian Vancouver language study program to be held in March next year was held on the evening of Thursday, September 5 at Sky Hall.
A total of more than 50 students in the 1st and 2nd grades and their parents were interested in foreign language training.
Mr. Saito from JTB spoke enthusiastically about the ability to acquire the skills needed for global human resources through overseas language training, the usefulness of overseas language training for entering universities and finding employment after that, and the content and schedule of enjoyable and fulfilling training.
It was a language training program with a reasonable price and a very good value for money. The application deadline is Monday, September 30. Please consult with your parents and apply.

9月10日（火）3年生が探究学習の発表会を行います
探究学習とは、「尚志必成」の建学の精神のもと、社会的課題の解決に向けてアクションをする中で、自分の志を創り上げていく授業（尚志必成プロジェクト）です。
前週の予選を勝ち抜いた6つのプロジェクトが決勝発表をします。

On Tuesday, September 3, the 3rd grade students made a presentation at the Inquiry Based Learning II class.

コース&系 説明会（１学年）
１年生対象に、２年次からのコース・系の説明会が行われました。
それぞれのコース・系を選択する際、「将来就きたい職業には、どんな学問の学習が必要か」ということも意識してしっかり選んでください。次回の第３回進路希望調査がコース・系選択の最終調査になります。

探究学習によって実現した『親子でミニゲーム』
９月１日（日）に、特別進学コース３年の柳沼愛梨さんが企画した「親子でミニゲーム」というイベントが、 ペップキッズこおりやま >> で開催されました。「探究学習Ⅱ」の授業の一環で様々な調整を行い、実現したイベントです。
探究学習の調査の過程で、震災による原発事故のあと、子供達の運動不足の実態が予想以上であることを知り、少しでもそれを解消できればと考えてイベントを企画したとのことです。当日は本校の先生家族も含めて１３組の親子が楽しくゲームに挑戦し、爽やかな汗をかいて親子の絆を深めていたとのことです。
Parents and Children Play Mini-Game' realized through Inquiry Based Learning
On Sunday, September 1, an event called "Parents and Children Play Mini-Game" was held at Pep Kids Koriyama >>, which was organized by Yananuma Airi, 3rd grade. This event was realized through various adjustments as part of the "Inquiry Based Learning II" class.
In the course of Inquiry Based Learning, after the nuclear power plant accident caused by the earthquake disaster, they learned that children's lack of exercise was more than expected, so they planned the event with the hope of solving it as much as possible. On that day, 13 pairs of parents and children, including teachers and their families at our school, took on the challenge of playing games happily, sweating briskly and deepening their bonds.

外部英語検定試験について (GTEC・英検S-CBTなど)
東京オリンピック2020開催まで1年を切り、これからの日本は、さらにグローバル化が進んでいきます。そこで、言語や文化が異なる人々と主体的に協働していくため、国際的共通言語として捉えられている英語の能力の向上と、我が国の伝統文化に関する深い理解、異文化への理解や交流する態度などが必要であるという観点から、英語の学習において、4技能(聞く・話す・読む・書く)の習得が求められています。
これに伴い、大学入学者選抜においても、合否において大切なものとして位置づけられています。今後、さまざまな観点から大学入試改革が進んでいきますので、大学入試の情報を注意深く収集していきましょう。
<大学入学者選抜における重要性>
①大学入学共通テスト(現2年生から)
英語は2020年度から2023年度までは、大学入試センターが作問し共通テストとして実施する試験と、民間の資格・検定試験の両方が用意され、各大学はいずれかまたは両方を利用して入試を実施します。このうち、大学入試センターが作問する英語の試験については、現行の「筆記」は「筆記(リーディング)」に改められます。試験時間は「筆記(リーディング)」80分、「リスニング」60分(うち解答時間30分)と変更ありません。民間の資格・検定試験については、その活用を支援するため「大学入試英語成績提供システム」が設置されます。要件を満たす外部資格・外部検定がこのシステムに参加します。今年7月初めに、実用英語検定協会(英検協会)の仕組みが発表され、2020年度に実施される最初の共通テストで活用される検定試験の受験方法が明らかとなりました。もうじき(9月~)予約申し込みが開始されます。2年生で受検を考えている人は、9月中に自分で予約申込をすることになるので、抜ける事なく申し込みましょう。
②公募制推薦・AO入試・一般入試(現時点でも取り入れている大学、多数あり)
「出願資格」「試験免除」「評価加点」「判定優遇」の4つに分けて活用されています。公募推薦・AO入試で特に多いのが、出願資格としての利用です。各大学で求められる出願条件を満たさなければ受験をすることができません。また、一般入試では得点換算としての利用が多い傾向にあります。
③指定校推薦
指定校推薦における推薦条件の中に英語外部試験に関する条件が付加、もしくはスコアの提出を求められる傾向にあります。
英語4技能試験情報サイトなどを検索して、英語外部試験の重要性を確認して下さい。
※ほとんどの皆さんが経験している通り、英語の外部試験は、簡単に合格・ハイスコアを得点することはできません。早くから意識して取り組むことが大切です。将来の自分の為に、今、努力を重ねましょう。

With less than 1 year to go before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Japan will become even more globalized. Therefore, in order to proactively collaborate with people who speak different languages and cultures, it is necessary to improve English skills, which is regarded as an international common language, as well as to have a deep understanding of our country's traditional culture, as well as an understanding of and interaction with other cultures. For this reason, the learning of English requires the acquisition of 4 skills (Listen, talk, read, write).
As a result, it has been positioned as an important factor in the selection of university entrants. From now on, the university entrance examination reform will be advanced from various viewpoints, so let's collect the information of the university entrance examination carefully.
<Importance of university entrance selection>
1) Common examination for university entrance (From the current second grade)
From FY 2020 to FY 2023, the National Center for University Entrance Examinations will prepare a common test for English, as well as a private qualification and certification test. Each university will use one or both of them for its entrance examinations. Of these, regarding the English examinations that the National Center for University Entrance Examinations issues, the current "writing" will be changed to "Writing (reading)". The test times are "Writing (reading)" 80 minutes and "Listening" 60 minutes (30 minutes of answering time). The "University Entrance English Achievement System" will be established to support the utilization of private-sector qualifications and examinations. External qualifications and certifications that meet the requirements participate in this system. In early July of this year, the Japan Association for Practical English Proficiency Test (British Examiners' Association) announced the structure of the test, which will be used for the first common test in fiscal 2020. Reservation will start soon (from September). If you are a sophomore and are considering taking the test, you will have to apply for a reservation by yourself in September, so please do not go through the procedure.
2) Public recommendation system, AO entrance exam, general entrance exam (There are a number of universities that are still using it.)
They are divided into 4 categories: "qualification for application" "exemption from examination" "evaluation additional point" and "preferential treatment for judgment". Especially in public recommendation and AO entrance exam, it is used as an application qualification. You will not be able to take the examination unless the application conditions required by each university are met. Also, it tends to be used as a score conversion in general entrance exams.
3) Recommendation of designated schools
There is a tendency that the conditions related to the English external test are added to the recommendation conditions in the designated school recommendation or the submission of the score is required.
Please search the English 4 Skill Test Information website and check the importance of the English external test.
*As most of you have experienced, it is not easy to pass and score high on external English exams. It is important to be aware of it from early on. Let's work hard for our future self.
