入学試験会場準備

新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止対策として令和3年度入試は専願選考と併願選考を除いて書類選考が行われています。掲示による合格発表は行わず、各中学校へ配達期日指定郵便で通知します。
1月18日（月）に行われる専願、併願、情報総合科チャレンジ試験の会場の準備も整いつつあります。

As a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the 2021 entrance examination is be based on document screening except for the general selection.　Notification of acceptance will NOT be made on the bulletin board, but will be sent to each junior high school by time-specified mail.
The venue for the exam to be held on Monday, January 18th is being prepared.

１月１６日（土）から第20回東北高等学校新人サッカー選手権大会（女子）が始まります。

初戦は、八戸学院光星高校（青森県第１位）vs 尚志高校（福島県第１位）です。

The 20th Tohoku High School Newcomer's Soccer Championship (for girls) will begin on Saturday, January 16.

The first match will be between Hachinohe Gakuin Kousei High School (ranked first in Aomori Prefecture) and Shoshi High School (ranked first in Fukushima Prefecture).

大学入学共通テストへの導入見送りでも...

共通テストでの導入見送りでも、とっておきたい英語民間検定

　大学入試改革で、大学入学共通テストにおける英語民間検定活用が見送られたのはご存じの通りかと思います。かといって英語民間検定の重要性は低くなったのかというと、そういうわけではありません。

　一般選抜では加点方式・得点換算・英語免除、総合型選抜や学校推薦型選抜では出願条件とするところが多いのが特徴です。指定校推薦においても、英語外部検定を出願条件にしたり、スコアの提出を求めたりするところもあります。総合型選抜や推薦型選抜での利用状況は、出願資格が47％、加点が21％、次いで判定優遇・合否参考20％、得点換算10％と続きます。

　多くの私立大学が利用可能としている大学は、●ケンブリッジ英語検定　●英検　●ＧＴＥＣ　●ＴＥＡＰ　●ＩＥＬＴＳ　●ＴＯＥＦＬ　●ＴＯＥＩＣ　の７つがメイン。それぞれリスニングの出題の仕方や筆記のボリュームなどに特徴があるため、ＧＴＥＣや英検の他にも自分に合うものがあれば受験してみるのもよいでしょう。また、共通テストや各大学個別試験の対策にも直結しますので、チャレンジして損をすることはないでしょう。

Even if the Common Entrance Examination for University Admissions is not introduced,
it is still a good idea to take the private English proficiency test

　As you may know, the use of private English proficiency tests in the Common Test was not introduced in the university entrance exam reform. However, this does not mean that the importance of private English tests has decreased.

　In the general selection process, many applicants are given additional points, score conversions, or exemptions from English, while in the comprehensive selection process and school recommendation process, many applicants are required to apply. In the case of the designated school recommendation, some schools require applicants to take an external English examination or to submit their scores. In the case of the Comprehensive Selection System and the Recommendation System, 47% of the applicants are eligible to apply, 21% are given extra points, 20% are given preferential decision-making and pass/fail reference, and 10% are converted to scores.

　Many private universities allow the use of the following seven main tests: ● Cambridge English Proficiency Test ● EIKEN ● GTEC ● TEAP ● IELTS ● TOEFL ● TOEIC. Each of these tests has its own characteristics in terms of the way the questions are asked in the listening section and the volume of the written work, so it is a good idea to take other tests besides GTEC and EIKEN if there is one that suits you. It is also directly related to the preparation for the Common Test and individual university exams, so there is no harm in trying.
