■合格の秘訣

　私には、将来「人の生活を豊かにするロボットを作る」という夢があり、一年生の時に両親と話し合い、父が塾講師をしていた経験から、私の夢を実現できる大学として福島大学を勧めてくれました。その事が、私にとって具体的な目標を持つという事に繋がったのではないかと思っています。また、二年生の時にオープンキャンパスに参加した事で、周囲に環境なども知る事が出来、さらに入学したいという気持ちが強くなりました。

　他の大学について興味を持心 かっ心のかというと、私は他の大学のオープンキャンパスにも参加し、資料請求などもしました。しかし、心が動く事は無く、気持ちは福島大学のみと固まりました。

　三年生になり三者面談では、他の大学を受けるつもりが無い事を担任の先生に話すと、これからの大変さへの覚悟を問われました。また、とても心配して頂き勉強以外のアドバイスも頂きました。その中から３つ書きます。一、卒業生の合格体験記を読むこと。　二、新聞の気になった記事について自分なりの考えを買い見ること。三、もう一度オープンキャンパスに参加する事です。私は公募制推薦で受験しましたので、これらのアドハイスがすべて役立ちました。卒業生の合格体験記は、先輩方が何をして良かったと思い、何をせずに後悔してしまったかなどが書いてあり、自分が何をすれば後悔しないのかに気づけたように思います。新聞の記事は小論文を書く為や面接の受け答えに、今、社会で起きている事に目を向けるだけでなく、語彙力を向上させるという意味でも必要な事だったと思います。オープンキャンパスヘの参加については、二度参加している事もあり、受験の時に初めての場所では無いという安心感が得られたり、面接官三人の中に自分が入学したら学びたいと思っている教授がいらっしやった事などが緊張を和らげる結果となり、落ち着いて受験する事が出来たのではないかと思っています。

　私が合格という結果を得られたのは、心願理由書を書き始める所から、小論文の添削や面接の指導にと、私の為に先生方がお忙しい時間を割いて下さった事に他なりません。先生方は、私の駄目だと思う所を的確に直して下さり、自信が持てずに不安を抱えてしまった時には励まして下さいました。先生方には大変お世話になりました。感謝の気持ちで一杯です。ありがとうございました。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　私の場合は、公募制推薦での受験でしたので、志望理由書を書く前に、どのように書けば自分に 興味を和ってもらえただろうか、何と書けば面接の時に答えられる質問が来るだろうかと考えながら書きました。実際の面接では、志望理由書に書いた中から想定していた質問が二つありました。また、他校の生徒の話しでは、あまり知らない事を書いてしまった為に、より深い質問をされた時に答えられなかったとも聞きました。以上の事から、志願理由書も手を抜かずに書く事が大切なのではないかと思います。

　また、進路や努力の仕方について迷っている方は、保護者と話し合う事、先生方に相談する事、先輩方の合格体験記を参考にする事が良いのではないかと思います。

　進路の決定には、保護者の同意が必要ですし、先生方は、勉強はもちろんですが、それ以外でも助言をして下さいます。先輩の一人として私の言葉も役に立てればと思います。

　When I was my first grade in high school, my parents and I talked about it, and based on my father's experience as a cramming school teacher, he recommended Fukushima University as a university where I could realize my dream. I believe that this led me to have a specific goal in mind. In my second year, I attended an open campus, which gave me the opportunity to learn about the environment around me and made me want to enroll in the university even more.

　I attended other universities' open campuses and requested information materials, but that didn't move me. However, I wasn't moved, and my mind was firmly set on Fukushima University.

　In my 3rd year, I told my homeroom teacher that I was not going to apply to any other university, and he asked me to prepare myself for the difficulties I would face in the future. He was also very concerned about me and gave me some advice other than studying. I would like to write three of them. One, read success stories of graduates.　Secondly, I should buy my own ideas about articles in newspapers that caught my attention. Three, to attend the open campus again. I took the entrance exam with an open recommendation, so all of these ad hoc tips helped me. The alumni's success stories were written by the seniors about what they thought they should have done and what they regretted not doing, and I think they helped me realize what I should have done to avoid regrets. ８月１８日（火）より夏期課外授業がスタートしました。

特別進学コース１年生は、『英語４技能講座』が行われ、プログラムの一つであるWeblioオンライン英語講座も始まりました。これは、ウェブリオ株式会社のご協力のもと、インターネットを用いて、１対１で外国人講師と英会話を進めていく学習形態です。

最初は緊張していた様子の生徒たちでしたが、レッスン終了時は笑顔と明るい笑い声も教室には響いていました。 ８月末のGTEC試験に向けて英語４技能向上を目指します。

■合格の秘訣

　私が福島大学を受験したいと決めたのは、一年生の頃からです。そのため一年一学期の定期考査から三年間勉強に励みました。推薦入試ともなると、評定が大切になります。私は一年生の頃から、評定を意識し勉強をしてきた甲斐もあり、受験を優位に進めることができました。

　学校で本格的に推薦入試対策が始まったのは、10月の初め頃です。その頃の私は推薦入試を甘く見ており、志望理由書もまだ完成していませんでした。志望理由書が完成しないと、それを元にする面接練習が始められないと教えられ、そこで初めて焦りを感じました。添削などを行い、完璧に志望理由書を仕上げられたのは10月の中旬です。そこから、面接と小論文の練習が始まりました。最初はどちらも酷いものでした。面接は質問に対して即興で答えられない、小論文は問いに対して適切ではありませんでした。

　まず面接についてです。面接官の質問に対し、どのような答えを言うか頭の中で決まっていたとしても、分かりやすく言葉で説明するのは難しいです。あらかじめ様々な質問を自分なりに答えられるようにすると、心に余裕が生まれるとともに、似たような質問ならすぐに答えられます。

　次に小論文についてです。読解力が乏しかった私にとって、小論文は困難を極めました。改めて日頃から本や新聞を読むべきだったと感じました。そして、文章を書くに当たり、知識の多さがものをいいます。書く速さも上がり、説明力のある文章を書くことができるでしょう。

　私は初め、私が受験する学群の受験者の数に戦慄しました。しかし、これまでの入試対策をこなしたおかげもあり、自信に満ち溢れることができました。合格に導いてくださった先生方には感謝に堪えません。

　最後になりますが、「文武両道」を成し遂げることが大器晩成に繋がると思います。頑張ってください。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　定期考査を頑張り続けるコツとして、自分より点数が上の人と競うことが大切です。または、小さな目標でも良いのでたてましょう。そして、考査二週間前から勉強を始めましょう。一夜漬けはとても辛いです。考査の点数を上げる事は評定が目的だけではありません。点数を上げると、先生のあなたを見る目が変わります。よりあなたを手厚くサポートしてくださります。

　部活動または部活外の活動をなさっている一、二年生は、今の活動をより頑張ってください。部活で勉強する時間がないという言い訳は通用しません。

　今、楽をして後で後悔するよりも、今、苦しみ後で楽にする方が絶対に良いです。

　I decided to take the entrance examination of Fukushima University  when I was a first year student. I studied hard for three years starting with the regular examinations in the first semester of my first year. When it comes to the entrance examination, grades are very important. Since my first year, I have been studying with an eye on grading, and I was able to take the examinations very well.

　It was around the beginning of October when we started preparing for the entrance examination for recommendation in school. At that time, I was underestimating the entrance examinations and had not yet completed the statement of reasons for application. I was told that if I didn't complete the statement of purpose, I couldn't start interview practice based on it, and that's when I first felt impatient. It wasn't until mid-October that I was able to complete my personal statement of purpose with corrections and other work. That's when I started practicing my interviews and essays. ■合格の秘訣

　私は、高校受験に失敗した経験があったため、大学受験では、絶対に合格するという気持ちを常に持っていました。その気持ちによって、辛い受験生を乗り越えることができ、合格に繋がったのではないかと思います。

　私が受験した推薦入試では、センター試験と面接で合否が判断されます。そのため、第一にセンター対策をしました。暗記教科は点数が伸びやすく、勉強の成果が見えやすかったです。しかし、苦手教科である数字や英語は、すぐに点数に反映されにくいため、時間をかけて毎日取り組むようにしていました。また、過去問を解く人がほとんどだと思います。私もその一人でした。ですが、受験をした時に、過去問と傾向が変わったことで焦ってしまいました。いつもより点数が下がった教科もあれば、上がった教科もあり、さまざまでした。本番は何があるか分かりません。過去問は参考程度にしかなりません。そのことを頭に入れて試験に臨み、どんな状況でも落ち着いて本来の力を発揮することが一番大切だと思います。

　私は、受験勉強の他に探究活動にも力を入れました。探究活動とは、自分で課題を見つけ、課題解決に向け、問いを深めていくものです。私は、子供達の遊びのゲーム化や、県内児童の肥満傾向の高さから、「コミュニケーションを取りながら体を動かす」イベントの企画・運営を行いました。この活動は、場所の確保やイベントの内容も自分で考えたため、試行錯誤しながら、やっと成功したプロジェクトでした。私は、この経験をすることで、自分に自信を持って、面接を行うことが出来たと思っています。もし、受験で面接が課されるならば、自分の強みが欲しいと思います。自分の強みがあることで、自信を持つことが出来ます。そのため、自分にしか行えない取り組みをすることも大切だと思います。

　私は、三年生という時間はとても短く、あっという間に過ぎてしまったと感じています。後悔しないためにも、時間を大切にして過ごして下さい。そして、周りの人と比べたり、流されたりせずに、自分のペースを大切にして下さい。笑顔で受験生を終えられるよう応援しています。

　合格をすることで家族や先生方、友人が自分のことのように、共に喜んでくれます。喜ぶ時間は一瞬で、辛い時間はとても長いです。しかし、私はその一瞬を忘れることはありません。皆さんにも、苦しい時期があると思います。その壁を乗り越えた先に、きっと良い結果が待っていると信じて、最後まで諦めずに取り組んで欲しいです。

　今は、受験をする姿など想像がつかない人もいると思います。ですが、受験日まであっという間です。その人達は、すでに対策をしているかもしれませんし、まだ何も取り組んでいない人達かもしれません。私は、今からの頑張り次第で結果は変わってくると思います。ここからが勝負です。志願校合格目指して、全力を尽くして下さい。

　Because of my experience of failing the high school entrance exam, I always had the intention of passing the university entrance examinations. I think that this mindset helped me to overcome the difficult entrance examinations and to pass the entrance examinations.

　In the entrance examination for which I took the recommended entrance examination, a student's success or failure is determined by the Center Test and an interview. Therefore, my first priority was to prepare for the Center Test. It was easy to improve my scores on memorized subjects, and it was easy to see the results of my studies. However, my weakest subjects, numbers and English, were difficult to reflect immediately on my scores, so I made sure to take my time and work on them every day. Also, I think most people solve past papers. I was one of them. However, when I took the exam, I got impatient because the tendency was changed from the past questions. Some of my scores went down and some went up. You never know what the real test will be like. Past papers are only a reference. I think the most important thing is to keep this in mind as you approach the exam and to remain calm and show your true strength in any situation.

悩みの果てに光あり（体当たり教育）

尚志学園の創立者である佐藤 信先生 >> の著書「体当たり教育」（1970年発刊）から創設の経緯の一部を紹介します。

悩みの果てに光あり

　ある日、私は、偶然に大隈重信の伝記を読む機会にめぐまれた。大隈重信が大政治家を夢見て、新進気鋭の若手官吏として腕をふるっていたころ、たまたま起こった「北海道官有物払い下げ事件」に連座して、官を追われ野にくだったのであるが、このころの彼は前途への希望をたたれ、もんもんの日を送っていたらしい。そうしたとき、親友の小野梓が訪れ、「大隈君、志をとげる方法は政治ばかりではない。学校をおこし、教育をつうじて青年に自分の志を伝えるならば、それは永遠に生きている」と励まされ、小野梓とともに早稲田の森に「東京専門学校」を開設し、今日の早稲田大学のいしずえを開いたという内容のものである。暗雲にとざされた私の心にひとすじの光明が、突如さしこんできた。

「そうだ学校をつくろう。青年たちに私の理想を伝えよう」

　まさにこれは天の声であった。私はさっそく、この五、六年の間、私の政治活動に献身してくれた望木青年に、私の心境をうちあけた。しかし学校といっても借金だらけの私に新しい高等学校を開くだけの力はない。将来の計画は別として、手っ取りばやくつくれる学習塾、または予備校からはじめよう。

　方針がきまると、私はいままで重くのしかかっていた暗雲をふき払うように猛然として行動をおこした。まず校舎の借上げ、生徒募集、職員の配置など、無一物からはじまるのであるから、他人をたのむわけにはいかない。ビラくばりから学校訪問まで、いっさいがっさい、私と望木青年二人でかけまわった。校舎の借上げが難航し、あてにしていた施設がつぎつぎと断わられ、開校があやぶまれてきた。

　校舎をさがして、あてもなくかけまわっているうちに日が暮れ、重い足をひきずって帰途についたとき、私はある町裏でこうこうと電灯をともし、十数名の若い女性があつまって講義を受けている光景に出くわした。ちかづいてみるとその建物の玄関には、助産婦養成所と書いてある。二階建でかなり建物に余裕があるようである。さっそく、案内をこい、校舎の一部を貸してもらいたいと願ってみたが、にげもなく断わられてしまった。

　熱意で押すほかないと思ってつぎの日から日参して交渉をつづけたが、この学校は財団法人組織のため理事者が十数名おり、そのひとびとの意見を聞かなくては返事が出来ないという。さらばと、その理事者の名簿を借り受け、一人ひとり戸別訪問して頼んで歩いた。この強引な戦法には相手も根負けしたのであろう、ついに、一か年という期限つきで三教室を借り受けることに成功した。

　こうして、福島高等予備校は昭和三十四年十二月一日、職員、校長以下四名、生徒数七十二名でその幕を開けたのである。

Another Door Opened

     One day I read the life of Shigenobu Okuma.  Through the biography of his life I found that he had experienced hard times as well when he dreamed of being a great politician. He was actively doing his job as a young government official, but unfortunately he was fired under suspicion of being involved in an affair.  He was so discouraged, that he lost his dream to be a politician.  One day, however, Azusa Ono, one of his best friends, visited him and said, "Becoming a great politician is not the only way to accomplish what you want to do.  You can teach young people what you think is right.  Why don't you establish a school?"  After hearing these words, Okuma started a project to open a school, which is now known as Waseda University.

     When I finished reading this biography, I realized that there was still something that I could do.  "I can do the same thing he did.  I should establish a school for myself!"  I still believe this was a calling.  Soon I told this idea to my friend, Mogi, who had been working for me for over 5 years.  Of course I knew that I did not have enough money to establish a new school, so we decided to open a cram school or preparatory school as our first step.

     By the time we made a plan to open our school, I had completely forgotten the hard times when I was so depressed.  Now I can knew what I should do.  I immediately started to prepare for our school.  There were lots of things to do: finding a good place for the school, school staff and new students.  We had little money for our project, so we had to do everything ourselves.  Mogi and I tried hard to find a location we could use for class, but we could not find a good one.  We were worried that we would not be able to open a school as we planned.

     One evening when I was on my way home, I saw that ten or more young women were listening to a lecture in a small room in a building.  The building had two-stories and was used as a training school for midwives.  There seemed to be some rooms available, so I asked the manager if I could rent several rooms.  He refused.

     I could not give up this location, so I visited him every day to try to convince him.  He said he could not decide because the building was managed by about ten directors.  I asked him each director's addressed and visited them one by one.  They were surprised with my sudden visit.  Finally they gave in to my earnest pleas.  I was able to rent three rooms within a year.

     Our first school, Fukushima Preparatory High School, opened on December first of 1959, with only four staff members including myself, and 72 new students.

■合格の秘訣

あなたはドラゴン桜を読んだことありますか？あれは私のバイブルでして、あれを元に受験勉強を進めたといっても過言ではありません。まずこれを読んだ後にやってほしいことはドラゴン桜を読むことです。

また、精神面なのですが、羞恥心を捨てることです。高校生活で付き合う人たちにどう思われようと関係ありません。大学に行っても関わりを持つ人など一握りなのですから。廊下や集会で単語帳や参考書をみていると白い目で見られることがあります。ガリ勉だとか聞こえてくるかもしれませんがガリ勉上等です。このようにどう思われようと割り切る心持ちが大事です。前述したことのおかげで、自転車に物理の公式を書いたビニテを貼ったり、デスクマットを買って覚えたい単語を挟んだりを躊躇せずにできるようになりました。

「情報があれば可能性に変わる体験がいちばんのネタになる」これは内藤紗弥花VITA先生が教えてくれた言葉ですが、情報がないと何も行動を起こせません。まずぱ情報収集です。受験の方式がわからない、共通テストはなんのためにあるのか、勉強するのが悪いとは言いませんが、非効率かつ非生産的です。

情報を手に入れる手段は、螢雪時代が一番いいと思います。受験シミュレーシヨンにもなり、難関大に合格した人のアドバイスなどを得ることができます。月一回モチベーションを回復できるので、すごく活躍しました。

先生の言うことを馬鹿正直に聞き入れてはいけません。先生も人間ですので時に間違えることがあり   ます。私たちは何事にも疑ってかかるべきです。それに先生に何もかも反抗する簡単な人間にならないでください。反抗というものは能力が釣り合って初めて成立するものです。能力とは何かは定義しませんが、先生の方が確実に立場は上です。宿題を出さなかったり、授業を聞かなかったりするのは簡単な人間がするものです。そんな人にはなって欲しくありません。先生より賢くなれると思ったら先生が敷いたレールの上から分岐しましょう。先生の言われた通りやっていても先生を上回ることはできません。自分で学んでいけると思ったら自分のやり方でやりましょう。受験勉強の最終段階は、「自分で課題を見つけ、それらの解決法を考え、それを消化する」を繰り返せるようになることです。自立した勉強をして自走できるようになって初めて本当の自主学習と言えるでしよう。それでも、先生方は、私たちのことが心配なので何かと世話を焼いてくれるかもしれません。それは先生が悪いのではなく、信用されていない私たちが悪いのです。私たちは一人でもできるんだぞとアピールしてください。

では信用されるにはどうすれば良いのか。それは自分から意欲的に学習している姿勢を見せることです。授業内の質問だけでは不十分です。自ら課題を見つけ、それを解決するためにはどうすればいいか尋ねると良いでしょう。そしてしっかりと経過報告をします。一度や二度だけでは三日坊主のように捉えられてしまいます。意欲と継続力を示すことが大事です。

あとラップやダジャレを常日頃から言うようにしましょう。連想する力が養われます。試験も連想ゲームみたいなところがあって、数学でも問題文でこれが出てきたらこれだなと連想してるだけなんですよね結局。物理なんかがいい例でこの図が出てきたらこの問題、この文字が出てきたらあの分野と連想しているだけです。問題を解くことができる人はその連想する材料をたくさん持っていて、連想できるからこそ解くスピードも速いと言う。

連想するのに良い勉強法はメモリーノリーを用いる方法です。ドラゴン桜を見ればやり方はわかるので方法は説明しません。『ここであなたはメモリーツリーを知ろうとしましたか？ここで大きく分かれるのです。メモリーツリー？なんだろう気になる。この気持ちを大切にしてください。多くの人はなんだよやり方までちゃんと説明しろよと思うことでしょう。それではいつまでたっても受動的な縛りから解き放たれません。自分から知ろうとしてください。』「私、気になります！」と毎日呟くようにしましょう。心を変えるためにまずは言動から。

必ず、モチベーションが落ち込む時があります。阿部真央の「believe in  myself」を聴きます。泣きます。復活します。こんなもんです。歌詞を見ながら聴いてくださいね。

あと3年の夏が勉強時間のピークです。共通テストが近付いたからといって勉強するようになるわけではありません。これを知らなかった私は、「うわ、全然勉強できてない。勉強時間が増えるどころか減ってきている」と自分が嫌になりました。現実と理想が大きな差が生まれると精神的に崩れやすいです。と言うか私の目標が高すぎたんですかね？そこはなんとも言えないんですよね。理想を高く掲げるメリットと、理想を抑えるメリットが同じくらいなんですよね。それから理想を高く掲げる良い点をあげます。

私は、高3になってから、東大と京大を目指してきました。別に入れるとは思いませんがなんとなく   気持ちが上向きになります。これが結構良かったんですよね。もう判定なんてずっと全部Eですよ。たまに河合塾の模試をやった時に、うわ！Dに上がったと思ったらDが最低だったりしてぬか喜びでした。まあそんなこんなでずっと親を心配させ続けるわけです。自分が良い判定を取れないのにE判定は取れるというジレンマ。あ、でもE判定は良い判定と思った方が気が楽かもしれませんね。そのおかげでずっと頑張り続けられたわけですし。

今からでもできることありました。Twitterで東大受験生界隈や、東大生をフォローしましょう。あのテレビに出てるような有名な人じゃない方がいいです。Twitter界隈で有名な人が好ましいですね。楽しいですよ結構。あと浪人ラブライブっていうアカウントもいいですよ。とても勇気でます。というか頑張らなきゃって気になります。

あと生産性を高めることだけを考えてましたね。例えば、保健の授業を英語で翻訳したり、家庭科の授業を英語で翻訳したり、尚志ノートを英語で書いたり無駄になりそつなことをとことん価値のあるものにしました。無駄とわかりながら、無駄なことするってとても愚かじゃないですか？それをどうしたら役に立つかを考えようともせず惰性でやってるんですよね。保健や家庭科を英語で勉強することで、臓器の名前や病気の名前、糖尿病とか結核とか頻出語を勉強する機会なんて保健の時間でしかないんですよ。すごく価値を見出せそうじゃないですか？保健、家庭科はそういう専門用語を学べる場だと捉えたらうかつに寝てもいられないんですよね。今先生の言った言葉の英単語が入試で出るかもしれないと   思ったら少しはモチベーション上がりました。私的には、知っている英単語が増えていく感覚がたまらく楽しくて、入試に出ないとしても覚えたいという気持ちが強かったんですね。だから漢字を覚える漢検も、センター試験で使わない教科も学ぶことが、知識を増やすことが楽しかったので、特別暗記系の科目が嫌いといっことはありませんでした。なんてったって覚えるだけで点取れますしね。得点に直結してる感が気持ち良かったです。

■後輩へのメッセージ

これから一番大切なことを話します。ここまで読んでくれてありがとうございます。自分の納得する道を切り拓くことを祈っています。学校生活で一番大切なものはなんですか、そう仲間です。遅咲きの   厨二病ではないですが、最初の頃高校受験に失敗したショックでもう部活もしない、勉強だけする、友達とも遊ばないと決心していました。孤独はかっこいい、群れをなしてるやつはダメだなどとよくない考えを持っていました。確かに、友達と関わっていて勉強に役に立ったりすることはないかもしれません。しかし、仲間の存在があるからこそできることもあります。これは大人が人脈は大切にしろというのと同じことなのかなと思います。大人になれば集団といるより個人が尊重されるようになります。私にはこの人がいたから頑張れたという人が二人います。その二人とも私よりもはるかにすごい努力を   していました。その姿を見ていたからこそ、最後まで頑張り続けることができました。たった二人です。たった二人の良い仲間がいたからこそ、最後まで頑張り続けることができました。たった二人です。たった二人の仲間がいたからこそ良い影響をお互いに与えられたのだと思います。だって自分一人の力で出せた結果だとは思えないんですもん。周りの環境は自分で創るものです。教室は正直言ってうるさいし苦痛、ストレスでしかありません。しかし、幸運なことに無駄に広い学校なので空いてる教   室があったりします。そこで良い仲間と勉強してください。決して、試験が近くなったからといって独りにならないことが大事です。もう一度言います。本当に頑張りたい時には仲間と一緒にいてください。勉強も楽しくなくなります。

今は、この人なら共に仲間となり良い影響を与えられるだろうと思えるような人を探してください。そして来るべき時にスクラムを組むのです。二人三脚となるのです。善き仲間と出会い、かけがえのない人となることを願っています。

Have you ever read Dragon Sakura. That was my bible, and it's no exaggeration to say that I used it as a basis for studying for the exam. The first thing I want you to do after reading this is to read Dragon Sakura.

Also, on the mental side, you need to let go of your sense of shame. It doesn't matter what the people you associate with in high school think of you. There are only a handful of people you'll be involved with when you go to college. If you look at a vocabulary book or reference book in the hallway or in an assembly, you may be looked at by white people. You may hear people saying that you are a grinder, but it's okay to be a grinder. It's important to have a clear mind, no matter what people think of you. Thanks to the aforementioned, I don't hesitate to put a vinyte with physics formulas on my bike or buy a desk mat to put the words I want to remember between them.

Without information, you can't take any action. You have to gather information first. I'm not saying that studying is bad, but it is inefficient and unproductive.

I think the best way to get information is through the fluency period. It can be a great way to simulate exams and get advice from people who have passed difficult universities. I could recover my motivation once a month, which was very useful for me.

Don't listen to what your teacher says without being honest. Teachers are human beings and they sometimes make mistakes. We should be suspicious of everything. And don't be an easy person to rebel against everything your teacher says. Rebellion is only possible when there is a balance of ability. I won't define what competence is, but the teacher is definitely in a better position than you. It's an easy person to not turn in homework or listen to a class. I don't want you to be that person. If you think you can be smarter than your teacher, branch out from the rails your teacher has laid down. You can't surpass your teacher by just doing what he or she tells you to do. If you think you can learn on your own, do it your way. The final stage of studying for exams is to be able to repeat the cycle of "find your own challenges, figure out how to solve them, and digest them. Only when you are able to study independently and run on your own will you be able to call it true independent study. Even so, our teachers may be worried about us and will do something to help us. It's not the teachers' fault; it's our fault for not trusting them. You have to show them that we can do it on our own.

So how can we be trusted? It's to show that you are willing to learn. It's not enough to just ask questions in class. It's also a good idea to find your own challenges and ask what you can do to solve them. Then give them a firm progress report. Once or twice can be seen as a three-day affair. It's important to show willingness and persistence.

Also, try to say raps and puns on a regular basis. It will help you develop your ability to associate. The test is also like an association game, and in maths you just associate this with the question text when it appears. Physics is a good example of this, you just associate this diagram with this problem or this letter with that field. People who can solve problems have a lot of material to associate with them, and because they can associate, they can solve them faster.

A good way to learn to associate is to use memory nolly. I won't explain how to do it because you can see in the Dragon Sakura book how to do it. 'Have you tried to get to know the memory tree here? This is where we are largely divided. Memory trees? I'm curious what it is. Keep this feeling in mind. A lot of people will think, "What the hell, explain to me how to do this? That's not going to get you out of the passive bondage. Try to learn. 'I'm curious!' Try to mutter to yourself every day. To change your mind, start with your words and actions.

There will always be times when your motivation will be depressed. Listen to "believe in myself" by Abe Mao. I will cry. It will come back. That's how it goes. Please listen to it while looking at the lyrics.

The summer of the next three years is the peak of my study time. Just because a common test is coming up doesn't mean you're going to study. I didn't know this, and I was like, "Wow, I'm not studying at all. I'm not getting more time to study, I'm getting less time to study," and I hated myself for it. It's easy to collapse mentally when there's a big difference between reality and ideals. Or maybe my goals were too high? It's hard to say that part, isn't it? There's about the same benefit of setting your ideals high as there is of suppressing them. Then I'll give you some good points for setting high ideals.

Since my senior year of high school, I've been aiming to go to Tokyo University and Kyoto University. I don't think I'll get in, but it somehow made me feel better. It was pretty good. All the judgments have been "E" for a long time now. When I took a mock exam at Kawaijuku, I got a D. Sometimes, I thought I got a D, but my D was the worst, and I was so happy. So, this is how I keep worrying my parents. The dilemma was that I couldn't get a good grade, but I could get an E. But I think it would be easier if I think "E" is a good decision. Because of that, I was able to keep working hard.

There's something you can do even now: follow the students of Todai and their surroundings on Twitter. It shouldn't be those famous people on TV, preferably the ones who are famous around Twitter. It's a lot of fun. Also, an account called Ronin Love Live is a good one. It'll give you a lot of courage. It makes you feel like you have to work hard.

Also, I was just thinking about how to increase my productivity. For example, I translated the health class into English, the home economics class into English, and wrote the notebook in English. Isn't it very silly to do something useless when you know it's useless? They don't even try to figure out how to make it useful, they just do it out of inertia. By studying health and home economics in English, the only chance I have to learn the names of organs, diseases, and frequent words like diabetes and tuberculosis is in health class. I think you will find great value in it, don't you? If I see health and home economics as a place to learn those kinds of technical terms, I can't stay in bed carelessly. When I thought that the English words you just mentioned might appear on the entrance exam, my motivation increased a little. Personally, I enjoyed the feeling that I knew more and more English words, and I wanted to remember them even if they didn't appear on the exam. That is why I enjoyed learning Kanji in the Kanji test and other subjects not used in the National Center Test and increasing my knowledge, so I didn't dislike memorization subjects. After all, you can get points just by memorizing them. It felt good to have a direct link to my score.

What is the most important thing in school life, yes my friends. I'm not a late bloomer in the kitchen, but when I first started, I was so shocked that I failed my high school entrance exams that I decided not to do any more club activities, just study and hang out with my friends. I had bad ideas about how loneliness was cool, and that a herd of people were not good for me. Sure, being involved with my friends might not help me in my studies. However, there are some things that can be done because of the presence of peers. I think this is the same thing as adults telling us to take care of our network of friends. When you become an adult, the individual is more respected than the group. There are two people in my life who have worked hard because of this person. Both of them worked much harder than I did. I was able to keep working hard until the end because I saw them. It's just two people. They are only two good friends that kept me going until the end. Just two people. Because there were only two good friends, we were able to influence each other in a positive way. I don't think I could have done it on my own, because I don't think I could have done it on my own. The environment around you is what you create. To be honest, the classroom is noisy, painful, and stressful. But fortunately, the school is so big that there are sometimes empty classrooms. You should study there with good friends. It is important that you never feel alone just because an exam is coming up. I'll say it again. If you really want to do your best, be with your friends. Studying will not be fun anymore.

Now, find someone you feel like this person can be a friend and a positive influence with you. Then, when the time comes, scrum it up. We are a tripod. I hope you meet good friends and become irreplaceable.
