消費税の高い国ランキングTOP10！日本は何位？ >>
あれ？日本の消費税かなり低くない？と思ってしまいますね。しかし、軽減税率を見てみると一概にそうは言えないことが分かります。
軽減税率とは、特定品目については消費税を低くする制度のことで、たとえば日本では食料品の消費税が8％。
消費税が27％のハンガリーでは、医療品や新聞などは5％、食料品やホテルなどの宿泊は18％の軽減税率が適用されます。25％のスウェーデンにおいても、新聞やスポーツ施設の利用料、文化的イベントの入場料などは6％で、テイクアウトの食品、レストランなどは12％です。
さらにハンガリーを含め、欧州では社会福祉制度が日本よりも手厚く、医療費や教育費が無料の国も多くあります。支出と消費税のバランスを考えると、日本の消費税は低くはないと言えるでしょう。
逆に、消費税の低い国は、１位が台湾とカナダの5%、３位がタイとシンガポールの7%、５位はスイスの7.7%、日本の１０％は６位となります。

Is Japan's consumption tax low??
Top 10 countries with high consumption tax! >>
HUH? Isn't Japan's consumption tax very low? I think so. However, if you look at the reduced tax rate, you can see that it is not necessarily so.
The reduced tax rate is a system to lower the consumption tax on certain items, for example, 8% of the consumption tax on food in Japan.
In Hungary, where the consumption tax is 27%, a reduced tax rate of 5% is applied to medical supplies and newspapers, and 18% is applied to food and accommodation such as hotels. Even in Sweden, where the rate is 25%, usage fees for newspapers, sports facilities and cultural events are 6% and take-out food and restaurants are 12%.
In Europe, including Hungary, social welfare systems are more generous than in Japan, and medical and educational expenses are free in many countries. Considering the balance between expenditure and consumption tax, it can be said that the consumption tax in Japan is not low.
Conversely, as for countries with low consumption taxes, Taiwan and Canada take first place with 5%, Thailand and Singapore third with 7%, Switzerland fifth with 7.7% and Japan third with 10%.

時代の期待（ＡＩでゴミ収集を効率化）
三菱地所は東京・丸の内のオフィスビル２６棟でゴミ収集・運搬作業に人工知能（AI）を使う実験を行い、収集車の総走行距離を従来よりも約57％削減する効果を確認しました。二酸化炭素（CO2）排出量の削減も期待できます。
AIでビルごとに発生するゴミの量を予測した上で、収集車の積載量や搬出入の方法、作業時間などを考慮。ゴミが発生するすべてのビルを、少ない収集車で効率よく回る経路をはじき出したことで実現したそうです。
「AIに仕事奪われたらどうしよう」という思考ではなく、「AIをどう使ってより良い社会を作れるか」を考えていけるといいですね。 出典元 >>

Expectations of the times（AI makes garbage collection more efficient ）
Mitsubishi Estate tested the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for garbage collection and transportation in 26 office buildings in Marunouchi, Tokyo, and confirmed the effectiveness of reducing the total travel distance of garbage trucks by approximately 57% compared with conventional methods. It is also expected to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
After estimating the amount of garbage generated by each building using AI, the company takes into account the amount of garbage collected, the method of carrying it in and out, and the work time. It is said that it was realized by devising an efficient route to go around all the buildings where garbage is generated with few garbage trucks.
I hope we can think of "How can we use AI to create a better society?" instead of "What if AI takes my job?". Source >>
