■合格の秘訣

　私はこの度、太田看護専門学校に指定校推薦で合格することができました。私が尚志高校に入学した当初は、目標としていた県立の高校に落ちてしまい、とても悔しい気持ちでいっぱいで、あまり前向きな気持ちになれずにいました。しかし、このままでは駄目だと思い、今の環境で頑張るしかないと自分の中で気持ちを切り替えるようにしました。そんな時、太田看護専門学校には指定高推薦があることを知り、私は元々看護師になりたく、看護系の学校に進学したいと考えていたため、それを視野に入れ定期考査に臨むようになりました。

　一年生の頃はただ良い点数をとれるようにと勉強していましたが、太田看護の指定校推薦は人気だから評定が高い方がいいという事とクラスの順位は上位ではないととれないという話を聞いて、苦手な教科や前の考査で点数の低かった教科を中心に勉強し、挽回して評定平均を落とさないよう心がけて努力していました。私は部活動も行っていて、大会と考査の日程が重なってしまうことも多くありました。すべての教科を完璧にこなすことは大変だったため、この勉強の方法はとても自分に合っていたと思います。

　一年生の頃から視野に入れていた太田看護専門学校ですが、実際に受験しようと決めた時期は三年生の夏休み前です。それまでは、大学か専門学校かとても悩みましたし、県外の学校に行くことも考えました。また、看護師以外の職業にも興味を持ったこともありました。本当に悩みに悩んで、最終的に太田看護専門学校の指定校推薦を受験することを決めましたが、他に考えていたどの学校を受験していたとしても、評定というものは大切になってくると思います。一年生の頃から指定校推薦を視野に入れて、合格するという目標を持って勉強に取り組んできたからこそ、つかむことのできた成果だと思います。改めて、目標を持って何事にも取り組むことの大切さを、私は学ぶことができました。これから今以上に大変なことや辛いことがあると思いますが、しっかりと目標を持ち何事にも諦めずに前向きに取り組んでいきたいと思います。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　目標を立てることは大切だと思いますが、初めから大きな目標を立てる必要もないと思います。私も初めは指定校推薦で行けたらいいなあ、ぐらいの考えでした。前の考査よりも良い点数をとることや、クラス順位を上げようとか、小さなことからで良いと思います。なりたい職業や行きたい学校が見つからないのならば、それを見つけると言う目標を立てたらいいと思います。どんな小さな目標でもいいから、自分に見合った目標を立てて今より少し努力してみて下さい。小さなことの積み重ねが大きな成功につながると思います。頑張って下さい。

' Towards the Goal '

I was able to pass the entrance exam of Ota Nursing College through a designated school recommendation. When I first entered Shoshi High School, I failed a prefectural high school that I had set my sights on, and I was so frustrated that I was unable to take a positive attitude. However, I realized that I couldn't go on like this, so I decided to change my mind, saying that I had no choice but to do my best in the current environment. At that time, I found out that Ota College of Nursing had a high school recommendation system, and since I had always wanted to be a nurse and go to a nursing school, I started to take the regular examinations with that in mind.

　When I was a first year student, I was just studying to get a good score, but when I heard that Ota Nursing's designated school recommendation was so popular that it was better to have a high grade and that you had to be in a high rank in the class, I decided to focus on subjects that I was weak in and subjects that I had scored low on in the previous exams, so I decided to study harder and make up for it so that I wouldn't lose my grade point average. I tried to make an effort. I was also involved in club activities, and my competitions often overlapped with my examination schedule. It was hard to do everything perfectly, so this way of studying was very good for me.

　I had been thinking about Ota College of Nursing since my first year, but it was before the summer break of my junior year when I decided to take the entrance examination. Until then, I was very concerned about whether to apply for a university or a vocational school, and I thought about going to a school outside the prefecture. I was also interested in other professions besides nursing. I really thought long and hard about it, and finally I decided to apply for Ota Nursing College's designated school recommendation, but I believe that grades are very important no matter which other schools I was considering. I think I was able to achieve this goal because I have been studying since my first year, with an eye on getting a designated school recommendation and with the goal of passing the entrance exam. Once again, I was able to learn the importance of having a goal in mind in everything I do. I know that there will be more difficulties and hardships in the future than ever before, but I will keep a positive attitude and work hard to achieve my goals.

Message

　I think it's important to set goals, but I don't think it's necessary to set big goals from the beginning. In the beginning, I was just hoping to be able to go to a designated school with a recommendation. It's okay to start with small things, such as getting a better score than a previous exam or trying to improve your class rank. If you can't find the job you want to have or the school you want to go to, then you should set a goal to find it. It doesn't matter how small the goal is, just set a goal that is appropriate for you and work a little harder than you are now. I think the small things add up to a big success. Good luck with that.

■合格の秘訣

 私はこの度、郡山女子大学短期大学部地域創生学科に指定校推薦で合格することができました。この大学を志望した理由は、検定取得のために勉強できる分野や、将来の仕事に役立つ分野などの中から学びたい分野を選択し、自分の未来像に合わせた自由な勉強ができる事に魅力を感じたからです。

　私は高校一年生の頃から、受験をする時は AO入試か指定校推薦で受けようと考えていたため、定期考査ではなるべく高い点数を取ることを目標に、三年間継続して必死に勉強してきました。定期考査に向けての勉強ではまずどの日にどの教科の勉強をするのかや、一日にやる勉強の範囲などの計画を立て、その計画通りに勉強するようにしてきました。自分で計画を立ててから取り組むことにより、モチベーションが上がり、集中して勉強に取り組むことができました。しかし、定期考査だけでなく模試の偏差値も重要になるため、高校二年生の三月に行われた早期センター学習会にも積極的に参加するようにしました。

　高校三年生の夏に進路の先生や担任の先生と相談した結果、今までの定期考査や模試の結果、生活面などを見て、指定校推薦で受験することに決めました。それから面接の練習や国語と漢字の学習に取り組み始めました。面接の練習ではどんな質問がされるかを担当の先生と話し合い、地域のことについても勉強しながら質問に対する答えを考えました。国語や漢字の問題は過去問をひたすら解いたり、漢検の問題集を使って勉強しました。たくさん面接の練習や勉強をしたからこそ自信がつき、受験本番はその成果を出すことができたと思います。

　高校生活はあっという間でしたが、特に高校三年生の一年間はとてもあっという間でした。その中で定期考査や受験に対する息苦しさを感じる日もありましたが、目標に向かって日々継続して努カしたことにより、受験では良い結果に繋げることができました。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　勉強は、積み重ねが一番大切だと思います。勉強に対する苦手意識は皆さんそれぞれあると思いますが、苦手だからといってすぐ諦めずに、まずは問題を何度も解いてみたり、単語などを覚えられるようになるまで書いたりするなど、自分なりに勉強に対して努力し続けることによって、本来の可能性が広がるはずです。

まだ進路が決まっていない人もいるかと思いますが、さまざまな大学のオープンキャンパスに積極的に参加してみることにより、自分のやりたいことが見つかるかもしれません。

また、将来の夢や明確な目標を持つことによってさらに自分を高められると思うので、いつまでもチャレンジ精神を忘れずに努力して頑張ってください。応援しています。

　I was able to pass the Department of Regional Development at Koriyama Women's Junior College through a designated school recommendation. The reason why I wanted to study at this university was because I was attracted to the fact that I could choose the field of study I wanted to study from among the fields that I could study for certification and fields that would be useful for my future career, and I could study freely according to my future vision.

　Since my first year in high school, I had been thinking of taking the AO entrance examination or a school recommendation, so I have been studying hard for three years, aiming to get as high a score as possible on the regular examinations. The first thing I did when studying for the exams was to make a plan of which subjects to study on which day and the scope of study to be done in a day, and I made sure to study according to that plan. By making my own plan and then working on it, I was more motivated and was able to concentrate on my studies. However, because the deviation of mock exams as well as regular exams is important, I made sure to actively participate in the Early Center Study Session in March of my sophomore year in high school.

　In the summer of my third year in high school, after consulting with my guidance counselor and homeroom teacher, I decided to take the entrance examination on the basis of the results of the past regular examinations and mock exams, as well as my lifestyle. After that, I started practicing for the interview and learning Japanese and kanji. During the interview practice, I discussed with my teacher what kind of questions I would be asked, and while studying about the local area, I thought about my answers to the questions. For Japanese language and Kanji problems, I solved past papers incessantly and studied with Kanji test questions. I think I gained confidence because I practiced and studied a lot for interviews, and I was able to make the best of it on the day of the exam.

　My time in high school passed very quickly, especially during my senior year of high school. There were days when I felt a bit suffocated by the periodical examinations and exams, but I was able to achieve a good result in the examinations because of my daily efforts to achieve my goal.

Message

　I think the most important thing in studying is to build on each other. Everyone has their own perception of what they are not good at, but don't give up right away even if you are not good at something, and don't stop trying to solve problems and write down words until you can remember them.

　Some of you may not have a clear idea of what you want to do with your life yet, but if you actively participate in the open campuses of various universities, you may be able to find what you want to do.

　In addition, I believe that you can further improve yourself by having a clear goal and dream for the future, so don't forget to keep challenging yourself and work hard. I'm cheering you on.

進路学習会で２年生は何を学んだ？

11月21日（土）に、２学年対象の進路学習会が行われ、進学希望者は上級学校の模擬授業、就職希望者は就職試験や公務員試験に向けた心構え、についての授業を受けました。この学習会で２年生は何を学んだのでしょうか。記入した振り返りシートから抜粋してみました。

１．参加態度100点満点の自己評価　２．その理由
・１００点／最初から最後まで集中して取り組むことができました。大切なところをメモしたり、自主的に授業に参加することができました。服装も、心の姿勢もきちんとしていたので、１００点です。
・９０点／多くの話を真面目に聞いていたが、最後の質問の時間で質問をできなかったから。
・１００点／あまり興味がわかなかった講義も、「何か自分に吸収できるものはないか」と思いながら聞けたから。そうしたら、たくさんのことを学べました。すごく聞いていて楽しかったです。楽しみながら聞けたから１００点‼‼

３．今回の進路学習会で学んだこと、心に残ったこと
・自分が思っていた以上に美容師という仕事は大変なんだということを学ぶいい機会になりました。（美容・理容）
・保育と音楽につながりがあるのはピアノだけだと思ってたが、ちがった。新たな発見があって多くを学ぶことができた。（保育）
・今まで臨床検査技師は知っていましたが、臨床工学技士については今日初めて分かりました。もっとこの職業について調べてみたいと思いました。（臨床検査・臨床工学）
・デザインの定義をくつがえした"問題解決のための手段"という言葉がとても印象に残りました。
・良いものを作って売るだけでは選ばれないので、価値を提供することが大事だと学びました。（経済学）
・スポーツは「する」だけでなく、「見る」「ささえる」という様々な観点から関われる、楽しめるということが学べました。
・普段から視野を広げて生活していくことで、実際に作業療法士になったときに役立つと思った。

４．進路学習会に参加して、今日からどんな取り組みをしようと思いますか？
・具体的に何をやりたい‼というのが決まっていないので、少しでも多く、色々な情報を収集して、自分の進路を定めていきたい。
・本当にもう受験生であるんだと思いました。進路のこと考えるのをさけてきてしまった。だけどキチンと目を向けて考えていこうと思いました。
・今日から、自分のためにたくさん学びたいことを学ぼうと思いました。ただなんとなく授業を受けて、テストをして１日１日を無駄にするのではなく、より理解しようと、自分の中に取り込めるように受けて今よりももっとがんばりたいと思いました。
・自分の考えていたことや思っていたことと違う考え方がわかりやすくて、とても新鮮でした。これからも新しいこと、考えに触れ、興味を持ちたいと思ったので、色々な人・場所で話を聞いていきたいです。
・「進学先は県内で探す」と思っていたのですが、１コマ目の授業を受け、新潟にある大学にも行ってみたいと思いました。
・今後は、行動に移すのみだと思います。将来、自分がやりたいことが出来るように努力します。
・自分のやりたいことをするためには、やらなければいけないことがあります。しっかり夢を叶えることができるように、今やらなければならないことを怠ることなくやりたいと思いました。

What did 2nd grade students learn at the career study session?

On November 21, a career study session was held for 2nd-year students. Those who wish to continue their education had a mock advanced school lesson, while those who wish to work had a lesson on how to prepare for the employment and civil service exams. What did the sophomores learn from this study session? Here are some excerpts from the reflection sheet they filled out.

・100 points / I was able to concentrate on the class from the beginning to the end. I was able to take notes on important points and participate in the class independently. The way I dressed and my mental attitude was neat, so I gave it 100 points.
・90/ I listened to a lot of the lectures seriously, but I couldn't ask questions in the last question period.
・100 points / I was able to listen to a lecture that I wasn't very interested in, but I wondered if there was something I could absorb. Then I could learn a lot. I really enjoyed listening to the lectures. I was able to enjoy listening to the ministry.

3. what you learned and were impressed by in this study session
・It was a great opportunity to learn that a hairdresser's job is much harder than I expected. (Beauty and Barbering)
・I thought the piano was the only link between childcare and music, but I was wrong. I discovered something new and learned a lot. I learned a lot.
・I knew about clinical laboratory technicians, but today was the first time I learned about clinical engineering technicians. I would like to find out more about this profession. (Clinical Laboratory and Clinical Engineering)
・I was impressed by the phrase "a means to solve a problem," which turned the definition of design on its head.
・I learned that it is not enough to make a good product and sell it; you have to provide value. I learned that it is important to provide value because you can't just make a good product and sell it.
・I was able to learn that sports is not only "doing" but also "watching" and "supporting", which can be enjoyed from various perspectives.
・I was able to learn that I can enjoy and be involved in sports, not only from "playing" but also from various perspectives such as "seeing" and "supporting".

4. What do you plan to do from today after participating in the career study session?
・I haven't decided what I want to do specifically in the ministry, so I want to gather as much information as possible to determine my own path.

It's not what I was expecting! I have to start today! It seems that many people realized that they can do things differently. ■合格の秘訣

　私が進学先を本格的に決めた時期は、三年生の初めでした。それまでは、特に明確な目標もなく、学生生活を過ごしていました。考えていたことといえば、国公立の大学に進みたいという何となくの目標しかありませんでした。しかし、その中で私は、良い評定をキープする努力を怠りませんでした。一年生の初期からやった学習は同じです。毎日の予習・復習です。

　予習では、次の日の教科書の見開きページをひたすら音読しました。その時分からない単語があったら、そこを重点的に授業で聞き、理解するようにしていました。何が分からないのか分からないという状態にならないためにも、予習をすることには意味があると思います。

　復習では、その日の授業内容を脳に記憶させるためにも、ノートと教科書を音読するようにしていました。目、口、耳の3つを使って勉強することにより、刺激が与えられ覚えられるうえ、忘れないようになりました。予習、復習の両方に音読を取り入れることによって、記憶力がグンッと上がりました。

　予習、復習を一年時から始めたことで、成績が上がっただけでなく、高いモチベーションを維持できるようになりました。一年間、この取り組みを続けることが、二年生になったときの勉強にも活かされてきます。授業内容も難しくなり、他の活動で充分に取り組めないときでも、毎日やっていればルーティン化し「やらなければいけない」という気持ちがどんどん芽生えてきます。これは自分との闘いです。一回サボったら沼にはまっていきどんどんやらなくなってしまいます。誘惑に負けない強い気持ちを育てていくことで受験のメンタルも鍛えていけると思います。

■後輩へのメッセージ

　私は、一年生の頃から受験を意識して毎日勉強してきました。そのおかげで助けられた部分も多くあります。志望校が決まっていなくても、勉強だけは継続すべきだと思います。良い評定をとっておけば、レベルの高い大学へ挑戦しようとした際にも対応することができるし、自信にも繋がっていくと思います。

　受験期の時間の流れはあっという間です。やるべきことは早めに処理していき、計画立てて勉強することが大切だと思います。

　勉強の他にも、目指す進学先や就職先について徹底的に調べる事も必要となってきます。より気持ちを高められるきっかけとなるし、目標が明確になることで勉強に身が入ると思います。

　スマートフォンやゲームなどに負けず、まずは机に向かい教科書を広げることから始めて夢の実現に向け頑張って下さい。

　It was at the beginning of my junior year that I decided in earnest where to go to school. Until then, I was living my student life without any specific goal in mind. The only thing I had in mind was the vague goal of going to a public university. But in the midst of it all, I did not neglect my efforts to keep good grades. The learning I did from the beginning of my freshman year is the same. Daily prep and review.

　In my prep, I would read aloud the next day's textbook spread incessantly. If there were words I didn't understand at the time, I would focus on them in class and try to understand them. I think it makes sense to prepare for the lessons so that you don't get into a situation where you don't understand what you don't understand.

　When reviewing, I would read my notes and the textbook aloud to help my brain remember what I had learned that day. Studying with my eyes, mouth, and ears helped me to stimulate and remember, as well as to not forget. By incorporating reading aloud into both the prep and review process, my memory has improved dramatically.

　By starting the prep and review process from my first year, my grades not only improved, but I was able to stay highly motivated. Continuing this effort throughout the year will help me to study in my sophomore year. Even when the class content becomes difficult and you can't fully engage in other activities, if you do it every day, it will become routine and you will feel more and more like you have to do it. This is a battle with yourself. Once you skip a task, you will get stuck in a swamp and stop doing it more and more. I believe that by developing a strong desire to resist temptation, you can train your exam mentality.

　 "Pierce a stone in the rain," if you keep making small efforts, one day you will achieve greatness. It takes patience and effort to keep doing it every day. I think these words describe everything about the exam. Don't give up and do your best until the end.

Message

　I've been studying every day since my freshman year with exams in mind. This has helped me in many ways. Even if you don't know what school you want to go to, I think you should just keep studying. If you have good grades, you will be able to cope with the challenges of higher-level universities and it will give you confidence.

　Time flies when you're taking exams. I think it is important to deal with the things that need to be done as soon as possible and to study with a plan.

　In addition to studying, it is also necessary to thoroughly research the destination of your choice for higher education and employment. It will give you a chance to raise your spirits and make your goals clearer, which will help you to study harder.

　Don't let smartphones and video games stop you from studying, start by sitting at your desk and spreading out your textbooks, and work hard to make your dreams come true.
